GALA HISTORY
Metro DC PFLAG is the largest chapter in the world and a leader in programs and activities for other chapters. Our Annual Honors Gala has helped define us as a global and community leader. 11 years ago, two loyal PFLAG members envisioned a special celebration that was not only a fundraiser but would also be a way to affirm our families. In 1998, the first Honors Gala hosted about 300 supporters, and in recent years the numbers have grown to an average of 700. |
